Our client, a well-known Wine Estate located in the Durbanville Wine Valley, is recruiting for an experienced Accountant with a Hospitality / Restaurant background.
Job Purpose: To manage the accounts department within the Restaurants & Tasting Room by meeting and exceeding all accounting standards as set out by Accounts and by the Group Financial Manager. Be responsible for the efficient service and day-to-day running of the Accounts department by implementing and maintaining systems and procedures. Assist the group finance manager in daily capturing, monthly reconciliations, and report composition as well as day-to-day accounting work in AR, AP, and GL capturing journals. Knowledge of finance practices, tax, VAT, and excise knowledge is required.
