Accountant

An established and unique wine estate in the Paarl region is seeking the assistance of an Accountant. In this role, you will report to the senior accountant and be responsible for preparing and finalising monthly sales and budgets. You will support the Senior Accountant with various other tasks and assist the Financial Manager with developing financial and management reports. If this peaks your interest and you are keen to work in the beautiful Paarl region, please do apply.Responsibilities:Input information into prepared templates for Management accountsUpdate and audit budget schedules monthlyReconcile balances to accounting systemsEnsure subledger/external data balance to TB and management reportsPrepare yearly audit for all entitiesAssist auditors with audit, ensuring all queries are handled efficientlyPre monthly review and journal entriesReconcile all CDS sales slips on automated systemReconcile restaurant bulk invoices from pilotBalance restaurant payments received, resolving any differencesReceive and reconcile monthly member paymentsManage bulk invoicesReview and post credit notesRun month end proceduresFollow up on outstanding debtorsPrepare weekly debtors reports
