Accountant / Financial Manager

We are seeking an Accountant / Financial Manager ideally with manufacturing experience to perform the following: Key Responsibilities: Maintain financial records and ensure accurate financial reporting.Manage Trial balanceLoad and verify paymentsProcess monthly journalsPreparation and submission of VAT returnsStock reconciliationsPrepare and analyse budgets and financial reportsManage accounts payable and receivablePerform bank reconciliations and month-end closing processesEnsure compliance with financial regulations and standardsAssist with audits and tax preparationsProvide financial advice and support to management Requirements: Minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree in accounting or financeSAIPA articles completedMinimum 3 years of experience in accountingExperience with Syspro will be advantageousStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyGood communication and interpersonal skillsDeadline-driven with the ability to work both independently and in teams
