About the job: Accountant (Automotive Dealership)Our client, a well-established Automotive Group Dealer, is seeking the services of an Accountant.The successful candidate will be responsible for the full accounting function, debtors and creditors reconciliations, stock control, and will have 1 direct report.Min Requirements:3+ years post-articles experienceMust have completed Accounting Degree and articlesMotor Dealership experience will be advantageous but is not a requirementExperience in Stock Control will be advantageousDuties:Account processesFinancial analysis and reportingBudgetsCorporate governance, compliance, and auditsFinancial systems and databasesRespond to account queriesTraining and leadership of other financial employees on systems and processesBeneficial Skills:Automotive software experienceTax calculations are advantageousKnowledge of motor dealership operationsFinancial reportingCorporate governanceSoft Skills:Good communication and influence skillsGood interpersonal skills and customer-building skillsStrong numerical skillsFinancial decision-making skillsProblem-solving skillsTeam playerTake initiative and quick thinkerAbility to work under pressureExceptional planning and organizational skills
