Accountant - Accounts Payable

Hire Resolve has partnered with a leading supplier of stainless steel in our domestic market and the global arena. The client is currently looking for an Accountant - Accounts Payable candidate to join their team in Middelburg, Mpumalanga.ResponsibilitiesSupervise, train, and evaluate employees to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.Complete financial month-end and year-end tasks.Perform general ledger reconciliations.Prepare internal and external reporting, and assist with audits.Assist with inquiries from suppliers.Ensure that processing is done correctly and payment terms are adhered to.Ensure compliance with AFRS and IAS.Ensure 100% compliance with VAT regulations.RequirementsManagerial skills to supervise, train, and evaluate employees.Experience in completing financial month-end and year-end tasks.Proficiency in general ledger reconciliations.Experience in internal and external reporting, and assisting with audits.Ability to assist with inquiries from suppliers.Attention to detail in processing and adhering to payment terms.Knowledge of compliance with AFRS and IAS.Understanding of VAT regulations.Willingness to work overtime if required.If you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or emailing your CV to ****** are also welcome to contact Ashleigh on 021 551 8638.Please note that correspondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates for this position.
