We are seeking a skilled and experienced Yacht Designer/Yacht Design Engineer to join our passionate team. If you have a keen eye for both vessel interiors and exteriors, and are proficient in 2D and 3D modeling drawing software, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Design and detailing of both interior and exterior aspects of various vessels, including systems, line drawings, and detailed specifications.
Drafting accurate and detailed 2D working drawings.
Creating and refining 3D models in accordance with company standards.
Summary of Basic Requirements and Qualifications:
1-3 years of working experience in a design office.
Proficiency in 2D CAD drawing using AutoCAD or other industry-standard software.
Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and drafting using CATIA, Rhino, SolidWorks, or equivalent software.
Demonstrate a meticulous and neat work ethic.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
Additional Beneficial Skills and Experience:
A keen interest in the technical aspects of marine design and yacht design.
Previous experience in the yachting or marine industry.
Remuneration:
The salary for this position is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
Location:
This position will be based at our offices in Montague Gardens, South Africa.
