About the RoleMust have a recognized qualification as a diesel mechanicAt least 3 years of experience working on diesel vehiclesExperience in general maintenance of water pumps and machinerySupervisory/people management experience requiredPassion for vehicles and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in English and AfrikaansStrong organizational and communication skillsComputer literacy and teamwork mindsetKey ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance on fleet vehicles, including preventative and ad hoc tasksOrder parts and oversee timely deliveriesMaintain an organized workshop with sufficient spare partsSupervise and train workshop staffContribute to sustainability goals by improving vehicle and workshop eco-friendlinessRepair gate motors, solar, and electrical water pumpsManage workshop finances effectivelyKeep records of service schedules and other administrative tasksMaintain workshop equipment in accordance with standard procedures
