The successful incumbent will be responsible for managing all staff within the Workshop. Please refer to the minimum requirements, duties, and responsibilities below for further information.Minimum RequirementsQualified Diesel Mechanic (trade papers essential)Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4, Diploma / NQF level 6Minimum of 5 years' experience in a managerial roleMust have knowledge and experience with Earth Moving / Yellow EquipmentMust be able to communicate with all levels of employeesDeadline orientatedExcellent planning and organising skillsDuties & ResponsibilitiesManage the workshop teamDevelop and maintain a sound relationship with operations staff and suppliersManage the fleet maintenance programmeManage maintenance costs in budgeted costManage stores stock levels and the purchase of replacement parts and equipmentWorking knowledge of maintaining a haulage fleet comprising of truck, trailers, and loading equipmentManage tyre cost in budgeted cost
