Workshop Manager / Diesel Mechanic

Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team, with the added responsibility of managing the fleet and workshop operations. This role requires a hands-on individual who is not only proficient in diesel engine maintenance and repair but also capable of overseeing the efficient management of the fleet of vehicles and the day-to-day operations of the workshop. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical expertise, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to managing resources and workflows.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic with expertise in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related components.
Experience in fleet management and workshop management, preferably in a similar environment.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in related field
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices, mechanical systems, and diagnostic tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective leadership and team management skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate workshop staff.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Valid driver's license
