Description• Plan and lead training sessions to a group of mixed ability players with diverse backgrounds and experience of the sport
• Build confidence of returning players and keep retention rates up
• Introduce novice players to the sport and improve their technical ability
• Demonstrate a patient and encouraging coaching method
• Provide coaching expertise to improve the quality and standard of training
• Be a leader and help increase commitment from the players across the teams
• Be passionate about the sport and building an inclusive and fun environment for players
• Have an understanding of higher education sport
• Focus on improving players technique to prevent injury
• Work with the club committee to achieve the clubs aims and objectives for this year
• Display good coaching conduct in line with Queen Mary Student's Union Code of Conduct Applicants must possess minimum Level 2 England Rugby Coaching Qualification, and relevant first aid/insurance.
