wellington college | International DirectorWellington College is one of the world's leading co-educational boarding and day schools located in rural Berkshire set in a stunning 400 acre campus, home to a blend of breathtaking original architecture and modern state-of-the-art facilities to provide the best possible education environment for our pupils.We have an exciting opportunity within our International department who are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated International Director.About the role:You will join on a full time, permanent basis (37.5 hours per week).The postholder will be responsible to support the Managing Director in connecting and supporting WCI schools and business.
To support existing and new partners in delivering outstanding schools that are distinctively Wellington.
The successful candidate will be based in the UK (WCI Office at Wellington College in Crowthorne) but must be willing to travel extensively.Key responsibilities (Including but not limited to; see job description for full requirements):Act as a main liaison point for partnersRepresent WCI on international school boardsIdentify and recruit additional Board members to take WCI seats at designated schoolsOrganise Annual Reviews (inspections), including leading the teams and providing quality recommendations for school improvementAssist with recruiting Masters and Bursars for positions in international schoolsPerson SpecificationThe successful incumbent must have:Postgraduate teaching qualificationSignificant experience in a leading, ideally independent school, covering 3-18 age rangeSignificant experience in international educationKnowledge of compliance and accreditation processesSo, if you are committed to contributing towards the College community, think you've got what it takes to perform exceptionally in this role and would like to join our team, please apply now.Wellington College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
