Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment is looking for a well experienced Wedding & Special Events Coordinator to plan and execute events for a prestigious 5-star hotel in Cape Town. As the Wedding & Special Events Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in orchestrating memorable experiences for our clients at a premier 5-star hotel in Cape Town. Responsible for all aspects of event planning and execution, you'll ensure that every wedding, private event, or celebration exceeds expectations. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong customer service abilities, and a passion for delivering bespoke luxury experiences.
Responsibilities:

Prepare event quotes, conduct follow-ups, and hold client meetings to secure business.
Manage the quoting and contracting process across all booking channels.
Ensure accurate, consistent communication and documentation at each stage of reservation management.
Coordinate site inspections in collaboration with the sales team.
Continuously explore revenue opportunities by promoting available facilities and services.
Liaise with off-site suppliers as needed.
Compile and maintain detailed function sheets, updating and distributing any changes as required.

Requirements:

Prior experience in groups and special events within a luxury setting is ideal.
Familiarity with junior sales and reservations roles is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in computer systems and software.
