Job Description The successful candidate will provide support and contribute in surface water resource projects; storm water management, hydrology studies / modelling, river design and water intakes.
Key Responsibilities: Develop water and salt balances for mining and industrial clients.
Give input on water components for EIA's and mine waste management projects.
Provide hydrological inputs for tailings dam break analysis studies.
Develop high quality project and design technical reports for clients.
Manage project budget, resources and timelines effectively.
Mentor junior engineers with stormwater, hydrology and water and salt balance projects.
Prepare Macros on Excel for data interpretation, reporting and management Qualifications Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering.
3 - 5 plus years' experience in the field of Environmental Engineering related to surface water will be advantageous.
MS Word, MS Excel (Advanced), MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Projects, Use of GoldSim, PCSWWM, XPSWWM, Civil 3D will be advantageous.
Knowledge: Demonstrated ability in water resources including hydrology, water balance, water supply feasibility and water reuse.
