Project leader/task leader for consulting engineering in water and sanitation projectsPlanning, design, tender, and construction monitoringManage and perform design work as requiredPrepare and review technical design & documentation of projects involving the conveyance and treatment of both water and wastewater and associated technologies (e.g., water distribution, pump stations, pipelines, and treatment plants)Resolve technical issues on large, multidisciplinary, multi-contract bulk water projectsPrepare and review technical contract documentsPlan and monitor progress of projectsProgramme work and set productivity targets in discussion with the Project ManagerManage project administrationPrepare project reports, specifications, minutes, and correspondencePrepare time/cost estimates for clients on projectsObtain and confirm acceptance of appointments in writing Skills & Experience: Minimum 15 - 20 years of relevant experienceExtensive experience in Bulk Water and Sanitation Infrastructure Design (pre-requisite)Proficiency with Civil Designer, Civil3D, and AutoCADExperience working on both greenfield and brownfield projectsFamiliarity with GCC2015, SABS1200, and COLTO standardsSkilled in preparing reports and presentations Qualification:BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering ONLYRegistered as a Professional with ECSAProfessionally registered with SCAPCMP advantageous Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
