Purpose of Role:
Manage the development, implementation and continuous improvement of WarmanSelect (Configure Price Quote tool) solution. The main objective is to ensure accurate and efficient quoting for products offered while streamlining the business processes (sales and order phase) to reduce costs and support the Configure to Order (CTO) initiatives. This objective shall be attained through the process of developing and implementing the solution, followed by diligent maintenance management during its utilization, and the continual pursuit of improvement and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
Take the initiative to improve the quotation process and define a strategic roadmap for WarmanSelect Configure Price Quote (CPQ) processes.
Coordinate and manage the stakeholders in CTO and WarmanSelect, including the Leadership Team, Technology Groups, Regional Sales, Engineering, Product Management and supporting third parties.
Coordinate creating an optimal user experience by adhering to industry best practices and conducting periodic assessments to identify areas for refinement and enhancement.
Continuously acquiring swift product knowledge is essential to stay updated with the latest product developments & innovations.
Defining the CPQ processes and tool architecture which involves establishing the structural framework and components that enable the proper functioning and integration of the CPQ system.
Program and customize WarmanSelect according to business requirements. In addition, set up output documents and (approval) workflows.
Facilitate seamless Integration and data flow with third-party systems, such as Salesforce, SAP, Teamcenter, SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
Manage and conduct thorough testing of updates and application improvements.
Manage the release (deploy) process of updates to the production environment and inform stakeholders.
Support user access and permissions to ensure appropriate access levels for different departments and roles.
Provide comprehensive user training sessions to ensure effective utilization and adoption of the CPQ processes and tools.
Work closely with the WBS IS&T and Engineering Systems teams to actively respond to incidents and issues raised by the business. Implement timely resolutions and preventive measures to minimize future disruptions.
Help implement security measures to safeguard WarmanSelect intellectual property.
Continuous monitoring of technical and commercial CPQ input such as cost prices and technical selection methods.
Stay up-to-date on new developments and innovations within the CPQ solutions and integrated systems.
Regularly provide progress reports and recommendations to the Minerals Leadership Team and Divisional IS&T management.
Develop, document and maintain maintenance functions for CPQ processes and systems.
Documenting requirements from users, setting priorities and engaging with developers to ensure timeous and accurate completion of tasks.
Work closely with the Divisional IS&T Change Management team to develop process and training documentation and support development of online training courses.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge of pump selection and application principles
Knowledge of sales process
Knowledge of software development principles and agile development
Knowledge of Weir pump ranges
Communication:

Efficiently managing the CPQ team and setting priorities.
Delivering comprehensive training sessions to users and programmers.

Knowledge of principles of mechanical engineering, like Bills of Materials, material master data and engineering calculations.
