Warehouse Manager

Job Description:
APEX CHEM (PTY) LTD is seeking a skilled and motivated Warehouse Manager with strong experience in managing warehouse operations, driving, and handling deliveries. The ideal candidate will also be proficient in operating a Hyster (forklift) and have a valid driver's license.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
Load, unload, and organize inventory in the warehouse.
Manage inventory control and ensure stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
Perform local deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner.
Operate company vehicles (truck/van) to transport goods.
Safely operate a Hyster (forklift) to move materials within the warehouse.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Collaborate with the sales team and management to ensure smooth delivery logistics.
Perform administrative tasks such as tracking shipments, updating records, and reporting on warehouse performance.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Forklift license (Hyster certification preferred).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 16:30pm, Saturdays if required.
