Roles & ResponsibilitiesThe Warehouse Manager is a dual role whereby the incumbent will directly supervise one of the warehouses as well as oversee a second warehouse and Supervisor.Description Of Key Performance AreasSupervision of ResourcesManage and motivate staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.Ensure safety is prioritised across all areas.TransportMonitor and manage warehouse transport risks.Oversee that the vehicles are adequately maintained, are roadworthy and have appropriate signage displayed.Warehouse ManagementOverall responsibility for the management of the warehouses, raw material stock and finished product stock on both sites.Manage regular stock cycle counts, and quarterly audited stock takes at both warehouses.Ensure that there is standardization of systems and procedures across the sites in relation to stock and warehouse management and processes.Oversee stock returns and ensure that the POD and COD invoice processes are being followed.ISO procedures and loss controlEnsure adherence to ISO9000 and 14001 policies and procedures.AdministrationAssess costs to ensure that they are controlled, variances highlighted, and over-expenditure planned.Maintain monthly forecasting of warehouse costs and transport usage.ReportingTransport TeamParticipate in the cross-functional transport committee.
