Warehouse Manager - Food Production Industry

Hire Resolve's client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to join their team in the food production industry in the Western Cape. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse facility, ensuring efficient and safe storage of raw materials and finished goods.
Responsibilities: Strategically control the Warehouse in conjunction with the company's policies and strategic objectivesControl the receiving, picking, packing, and distribution processes effectivelyControl day-to-day operations of the Warehouse in order to achieve objectives and targetsCost management of all Warehouse activitiesEnsure stock control and reconcile with the data storage systemOversee, complete, and ensure stock takes are conductedEnsure all stock discrepancies are reported as non-conformances, investigated, and communicatedMaintain stock control systems and ensure sufficient stock availability at all timesControl and minimize scrap and ensure authorization before any items are scrappedProduce reports and statistics monthlyEnsure adherence to the OHS ActEnsure the warehouse maintains and complies with standards of health, safety, and hygiene at all timesRequirements: Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the food production industryStrong understanding of inventory management principles and best practicesExcellent leadership and communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse management softwareAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyA thorough practical knowledge of best practices in Operations processesKnowledge of OHS ActContact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
