Sea Freight Exports Clerk

Well established with more than 6000 people worldwide, they are now looking to recruit a Freight Forwarding Specialist in Manchester to work in Sea Freight Exports globally along with EU Road Import and Exports.Your role will involve handling Sea Export and EU Road, managing key customers and global clients. We are looking for someone that can be the central point of control for a portfolio of key customers, as well as ad hoc sea freight and road freight clients.In order to apply, you will need:Strong knowledge of export ocean freight.Good level of sea freight exports experience.Ability to manage shipments from quotation through to completion.Team player with the ability to work independently.Hazardous materials trained (preferred, not essential).Knowledge of customs processes.Experience in consolidation (preferred, not essential).Knowledge of following markets and requirements: Middle East / Far East / USA.Package and Benefits:Salary: £30,000 to £35,00037.5 hours per week9.00-5.30 (flexible to suit)Flexibility to work from home post-probation for appointments (i.e., doctors, MOT, etc.)30 Days Holiday, plus 8 Bank Holidays, plus 1 x Birthday Holiday (39 in total)Company pensionLife assuranceEyecare schemeEmployee assistance programmeEnhanced maternity and paternity benefitsRetail discounts scheme
