Salary: R 50 - 55 000,00 per month (based on experience)We are seeking a Warehouse Manager on behalf of a Client in the Edwin Swales: Durban area.Please have a look at the job description below and if afterwards you see that you have the desired experience, qualifications, and skills, kindly send us your detailed CV with relevant documents such as your Clear of ID, Matric certificate, Driver's License, and others, using this email address: ****** note: If you send us your application and do not hear from us within two weeks, kindly note that your application was unsuccessful.Responsibilities & Expected Results:Registration of receipted bonded shipments (Import / Export - Sea freight, Road freight) to SARS within the prescribed period according to the SARS Act.Submission of Cargo on warehouse management systems and ensure readiness for receipts and despatches.Monitor processing of VOC's, Customs Refunds & Acquittals.Check the accuracy of source documents against cargo arriving and leaving the bonded warehouse.Sort and verify the accuracy of data against cargo before it is entered, and locate potential errors.Knowledge of Break Bulk & Bulk Shipments Processing on Landing Delivery & Forwarding Orders.Bond Store control including register.Staying abreast of Industry changes.Management of detained Cargo.Assist with internal bonded queries and document requirements from the warehouse.Reporting:Weekly client reports for required acquittals.Weekly stock counts.Submission of customs excise account on a monthly and quarterly basis.Any Ad-hoc reporting required to Head Office.Stock on hand.Electronic bond register.Health, Safety and Compliance:Actively participate in all warehouse health and safety initiatives.Report any health and safety incidents and damaged stock to your Superiors as soon as you become aware of such.Monitor all unsafe acts and conditions. Near misses.Ensure all activities are done according to ISO standards.Required Specific Knowledge, Skills & Tools:Knowledge of Customs and Excise requirements for movement of goods outside South Africa.Good mathematical and analytical skill sets.Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to assist with problem solving and delivering on expectations.Matric.Logistics Diploma in Warehouse Management will be an advantage.Working experience of 4 – 5 years in Operations through Export activities for Medium / Large businesses.Sound knowledge of shipping documents & procedures required.Must be an opportunity seeker, take initiative, have a can-do attitude, and be adaptable to a fast-paced culture.Need to be flexible, customer-focused, and strive for constant improvement to provide top-quality service.Must have team spirit and be able to work within a team and empower one another.Must be an open communicator, sincere, trustworthy, and transparent.
