The Fleet/Logistics Assistant will be reporting directly to the Transport Manager.Job Requirements:Managed Fleet of 10 trucks (local)Daily fleet planning for deliveriesVehicle utilization reports, number of deliveries, were they done and if not why?Projection of fuelling and servicingVehicle maintenanceCompilation of accident reportsRCI updating doneDriver wages10 drivers, weekly - preparationDispatching of vehiclesDispatch queriesWorkshop and panel shop correspondenceFuel, tyre, driver absenteeism, monthly management, weekly vehicles reportsExcel proficiencyDaily tracking of vehiclesLicensing correspondence, ensuring that fleet's licensing is always up to datePOD queries and stock handoverManaged 45 Trucks2 x 4Ton Local, 43 x 8Ton Daily deliveriesPre and Post trip inspectionsResponsible for overall fleet conditionCompilation of weekly vehicle, daily deliveries, vehicle utilization, driver absenteeism and fuel consumption reports
