Warehouse Controller

Location: Port Elizabeth Job Requirements Good product knowledge Computer literate Logistics diploma (minimum) 5 years of experience Job Duties Inventory Management Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure optimal inventory. Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of stock movements, receipts, and dispatches. Operations Management Plan and coordinate warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for warehouse activities. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate warehouse efficiency. Team Supervision Assign and supervise tasks for warehouse staff, ensuring productivity. Train and mentor team members on best practices and safety standards. Resolve conflicts or issues within the team to maintain a smooth workflow. Safety and Compliance Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Logistics Coordination Collaborate with suppliers, transporters, and clients to coordinate deliveries and shipments. Schedule and track shipments to ensure timely delivery. Address issues related to delayed or damaged shipments. Reporting and Documentation Prepare and present reports on inventory, operations, and performance. Maintain documentation for audits and inspections. Handle administrative duties, such as filing and updating warehouse policies. Equipment Maintenance Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment. Ensure tools and machinery are in good working condition.
