Records items according to established procedures.ResponsibilitiesReceiving and InspectionReceive and inspect all incoming goods, materials, and equipment.Verify shipments against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.Check for damage, discrepancies, or shortages.Documentation and Record-KeepingAccurately record and document all receipts, including serial numbers and descriptions.Maintain up-to-date records of inventory, including stock levels and locations.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Inventory ManagementStore and organize received goods in designated areas.Ensure proper labeling and signage of stored items.Assist with cycle counting and inventory audits.Communication and CoordinationLiaise with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders.Communicate any discrepancies, issues, or concerns to relevant parties.Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth receipt and processing of goods.Safety and SecurityEnsure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors.Maintain a secure and organized receiving area.Administrative TasksProcess and manage paperwork, including delivery notes and invoices.Assist with data entry and maintenance of inventory management systems.Perform other administrative tasks as required.Mining Environment Specific TasksEnsure compliance with mining regulations and standards.Manage and track hazardous materials and substances.Coordinate with mine operations teams to ensure timely receipt and deployment of equipment and supplies.Minimum RequirementsGrade 12 with 1 to 2 years related experience.
