RPO Recruitment's client in the FMCG industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Warehouse Assistant Manager to join their team in the Western Cape.Responsibilities:To assist the Supply Chain Manager with the total Stock Control functionPacking and exports for companyHelp with the day-to-day coordination of the relevant Processing, store, and packing teams toward their goalsOversee productivity of all team membersResolve any problems as they ariseFull stock control function, packing and exportsEffective warehouse managementEffective Staff ManagementFinancial management, reporting, and administrationCompliance and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, Policies and ProceduresRequirements:Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Stock Control, Logistics Management, Production & Supervision studies)2 years' supervisory / managerial experience in a Food Processing / Production environmentGeneral knowledge of store management and stock control techniquesGood written and oral communication skills with fluency in English and ability to write and analyze reportsIntermediate computer literacy in all modules of MS Office and Google Suite software packagesResults oriented with the ability to continuously meet deadlines and working under pressureStrong leadership, organizational and time management skillsAble and willing to work overtime, night shifts, and have a 24/7 availabilityValid Driver's license and own reliable transportContactable referencesBenefits:Salary: R250K/yr - R350K/yr, salary negotiableTraining & DevelopmentPaid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable)
