Primary ObjectiveTo ensure distributor satisfaction through the efficient process of picking, packing and checking of stock/orders following standard operation procedure.To assist in effective stock control and warehousing function. To be multi-skilled and be able to work across all Warehouses in Neo-Life. To assist with all warehouse activities as instructed by your supervisor or manager.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with the re-packing of goods within the Warehouse.Responsible for receiving, picking, packing, checking and despatching of goods according to the Standard Operations Procedures.Correct shipping of all goods to Africa DC's / local or export shipments / Door to door deliveries.Re-packing of pallets to meet shipment requirements.Off-load/load containers/trucks inbound/outbound for the Warehouse.Assist in the monthly/daily stocktaking cycle counts, when required.Ensure that the entire National Warehouse/Longmeadow is kept clean and tidy at all times.Ensure stock rotation (FIFO) is done correctly.Correct shipping of all goods to 3rd Party Packers.Adhere to all OHASA Regulations and Requirements.Be able to drive relevant Forklifts.Deliver bulk product, packaging and raw materials to various packers and suppliers.Collect products from packers and suppliers.Check and sign for the correct product and quantities when loading on the truck.Maintain a record sheet of all daily activities, for example, time in, time out, mileage, suppliers visited etc.Ensure that the vehicle is clean and maintain it in satisfactory working order.Daily check of the petrol, water, oil, tyres, lights etc.Alert your supervisor when new tyres are required, or any repairs need to be done on the vehicle.Report any fines or damages to the vehicle, immediately to line manager.Maintain a petrol logbook and ensure that the truck always has sufficient petrol.CRITICAL SUCCESS AREAS:Perform duties timeously.Accuracy when picking orders.Neatness of work in general.Follow all company policies and procedures.Keep the truck well maintained, in good working order and clean.Identify minor mechanical problems.Drive the truck safely and ensure that the product loaded is secure.Knowledge of road regulations.Interact with representatives of various suppliers and packers courteously.TECHNICAL SKILLS:Minimum Grade 12 certificate.Good communication skills and professional telephone manner.Good command of English – verbal and written.Basic mathematical skills.Licence for the Counter balance forklift, Turret forklift (man up) and pallet jack.Valid Code 10 drivers Licence.Able to work at a height of 12 meters.Ability to follow reasonable instructions from the Warehouse manager and/or Supervisor.Ability to work closely and amicably with fellow colleagues.Interact with Distributors - be courteous, polite and well mannered.COMPANY FUNCTIONS:Assist with all Company Events as required.Sales Team meetings, Conventions and Training Events.Able to work flexi hours to suit the requirements of the Business Operating Hours.Attend certain events which can include working over weekends.HOUSEKEEPING:Ensure good housekeeping practices are met daily.Ensure the Warehouse area is kept neat and tidy.Comply with all OHASA Rules and Regulations.Maintain all Warehouse equipment.Complete warehouse equipment checklist at the start and end of each shift.GENERAL DUTIES:Perform any function that may be reasonably required from time to time.Alternate between NWH and Longmeadow Warehouse.Recommend improved procedures.BEHAVIORAL SKILLS:Excellent communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills.Detail-oriented.Efficient time management skills and ability to handle concurrent deadlines.Dependable and conscientious.Perform duties timeously.Accuracy when picking and checking orders.Literacy: Ability to read and write English.Ability to work towards a deadline and under pressure.Compliance with all Company Rules and Regulations.Neatness of work in general.Assist in executing all Warehouse related activities.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesStaffing and Recruiting
