Warehouse And Distribution Manager

Minimum Requirements:Education: Diploma in Warehouse Management, Distribution, or Logistics (NQF 6).Experience: At least 5 years in Warehousing or Distribution/Logistics Management within a manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Operational Efficiency:Ensure accurate stock levels and efficient inventory turnover.Minimize discrepancies through effective management and auditing.Compare actual physical stock with recorded levels.Order Fulfilment:Manage picking, packing, and shipping processes.Achieve high levels of on-time and accurate order fulfilment.Measure order accuracy and delivery times.Safety and Compliance:Maintain a safe working environment.Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.Reporting and Analysis:Prepare and present reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and distribution performance.Cost Management:Contribute to budget preparation.Control operational costs and optimize resource utilization.Staff Management (ESSENTIAL):Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff.Foster a productive work environment and promote teamwork.Oversee staff performance, discipline, training, and development.Essential Knowledge:Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and other relevant software.Knowledge of warehousing and distribution processes and procedures.Skills/Attributes:Leadership and organizational skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Problem-solving and analytical abilities.Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
