Warehouse And Distribution Manager

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To ensure smooth sales operations and deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Warehouse Management, Distribution, or Logistics (NQF 6).
Minimum 5 years experience in Warehousing or Distribution/Logistics Management within a manufacturing environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS AREAS
Operational Efficiency: Achieve and maintain high levels of operational efficiency in warehouse management and distribution.Inventory Management: Ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.Order Fulfilment: Manage the picking, packing, and shipping processes to meet or exceed customer expectations.Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular operational reports.Cost Management: Contribute to budget preparation and control operational costs.Scrap Battery Management: Oversee scrap product collection and processing.Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff, ensuring a productive and motivated team. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE
Proficient in MS Office, SAP, and other relevant software.In-depth knowledge of warehousing and distribution processes.Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. The successful candidate will report to the Regional Manager, KwaZulu-Natal.
