Shelly Beach Hospital (Pty) Ltd has an internal vacancy for a Ward Stock Controller at (Surgical Ward).Role SummaryThe Ward Stock Controller is responsible for maintaining stock levels and stock control in the Ward.Key Work Output and Accountabilities:Ordering stock and following up on back orders.Unpacking and checking stock received.Measuring and evaluating stock activity levels for stock and re-ordering purposes.Conducting cyclical counts for inventory purposes.Controlling the consumable cost of the Ward.Implementing and controlling systems for stock control.Investigating the negative stock list and ensuring that all link codes are up to date.Purchasing stock according to the needs and within preferred structures.Ensuring that all billing is done before requesting replenishments.Inherent Requirements:Grade 12 or equivalent NQF 4 Level qualification.Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suites (attach certificate).1-2 years stock control experience in a medical/health related environment.Competencies, Skills and Attributes:Effective communication to assist other team players.Ability to work well under pressure and maintain stable performance.Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.Organizing and planning skills.Stock control knowledge and skills.If you are interested in the position and wish to apply, kindly email: ****** Beach Hospital is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer, whose aim is to promote representivity in all occupational categories in the institution.Shelly Beach Hospital reserves the right not to fill the post.
