Position Overview:BiTech Medical Corp is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President to lead and grow our operations in the South Africa market. The VP will be responsible for overseeing the expansion of our biomedical engineering services, building strategic relationships with healthcare providers, and driving revenue growth. This role requires an experienced leader with a proven track record in the healthcare, medical devices, or biomedical services industries who can develop and execute strategies to scale our business in South Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for expanding BiTech Medical's biomedical engineering services across South Africa.
Lead the overall business operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and driving the organization's market growth and profitability.
Collaborate with senior leadership to set financial and operational goals, ensuring revenue targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved.
Business Development and Relationship Management:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the healthcare sector, focusing on hospitals, medical centers, and clinics.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital administrators, healthcare executives, and procurement managers.
Represent BiTech Medical at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote services and enhance brand recognition.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee service delivery and ensure that BiTech Medical's high standards for biomedical engineering services are met.
Work closely with the engineering and operations teams to ensure that all services are delivered on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations.
Implement effective business processes and operational improvements to drive efficiency and quality.
Financial Management:
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the South Africa division.
Ensure profitability through careful cost management and by maximizing revenue from service contracts and new business opportunities.
Team Leadership and Development:
Build and lead a high-performing team to support the company's growth in South Africa.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and leadership to direct reports, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
Manage recruitment and talent development to ensure the division has the right expertise and resources in place to succeed.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the healthcare, medical devices, or biomedical engineering services industries, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven experience in scaling operations and growing revenue in a competitive market.
Strong network within the South Africa healthcare industry, including hospitals and medical centers.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, P&L, and driving profitability.
