InfoWest is looking to fill a full-time Infrastructure Technician in our St. George, UT Office.
An InfoWest Infrastructure Technician is responsible for the proper operation of a large group of Network Elements, including but not limited to the following; installation of wireless equipment on towers, Building and ground, preventative maintenance and optimization, emergency outage response.  We have installed miles of fiber optic lines over the last decade and we are expanding every day. Infrastructure Technician Job Responsibilities: Install/maintain wired and wireless internet equipment.  Maintain company issued assets including tools, equipment & vehicles. Install battery backups and grounding systems for equipment. Equipment preparation.Follow training protocols and perform the job safely.Ability to work well with a team as well as independently when required.Drive company vehicles.Able to lift over 75 poundsDuties will include general labor related to telecommunications construction as directed by the Foreman/Supervisor including, digging trenches, installing conduit, vaults, and pedestals.Splice fiber optic cables.Work around construction equipment such as bucket trucks and reel trailers.Performs site clean-up.Restore and landscape disturbed areas of the jobsite.Attend training and professional certification opportunities.Attend safety meetings and training.Follow OSHA and all other safety rules as well as related company policies at all times.Use all prescribed safety equipment that is required to safely do the job at hand.
