Used Vehicle Sales Manager required in Lichtenburg.
Manage all aspects of the used vehicle sales department (including commercial and fleet sales) to ensure achievements of customer enthusiasm, owner loyalty and goals related to sales.
Responsible for the efficient running of the Used Sales department as a whole by planning, coordinating and motivating the department to consistently drive its performance and success.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategies
Develop and implement advertising, promotions, "call to action" campaigns and relationship marketing.
Profitability
Contribute to the dealer business plan.
Managing Effective Relationships
Contribute to a cohesive dealership team atmosphere, working toward dealership goals.
Management of Processes & Employees
Prepare for and conduct departmental meetings and convey information.
Establish departmental policies in accordance with dealer and GM guidelines and ensure adherence to those policies.
Customer Enthusiasm and Owner Loyalty Strategies
Track, capture and share customer perceptions of dealer performance and satisfaction indicators with personnel.
Actively listen to customers, assess needs and take actions necessary to satisfy those needs.
Apply knowledge of registration data when managing inventory.
Control purchase orders for sales department expenses.
Work closely with business manager to complete paperwork prior to delivery and follow up on necessary activities after delivery.
Profitability
Manage financial controls and resource allocation (human and capital).
Manage new vehicle inventory.
Manage internal control over inventory to prevent theft, vandalism and lot damage.
Manage sale of vehicles to fleet/commercial accounts.
Managing Effective Relationships
Manage open and effective communication between all departments in dealership and employees, vendors, manufacturers and suppliers.
Maintain a professional working relationship with vendors, manufacturers and suppliers.
