Job Description Generic Key Result Areas: Follows standardized processes and provides administrative support in line with normal business functioning.Delivers on daily production standards and works within set time standards.Adheres to service and quality standards.Specific Key Result Areas: Accurately and timeously:Screens and creates underwriting assessment cases.Sends formal correspondence regarding underwriting decisions.Responds to intermediaries, members, and employers regarding underwriting statuses.Professionally communicates with medical and other service providers regarding requirements.Updates and maintains underwriting records on relevant systems (Chorus, Compass, and GUS).Qualifications and Experience: Matric.Work experience in Group Assurance claims and underwriting processing.Experience working in a team with shared outputs.Competent in the use of Chorus (AWD), Compass, and EMS.Computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to work under pressure and deliver daily work targets.Sound analytical and problem-solving ability with a focus on attention to detail.Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.Skills: Microsoft ExcelMicrosoft WordEducation: Matriculation Certificate (Matric)
