Job description:
PSG is a leading financial services company seeking a Lead Distribution Analyst with strong reporting, analytics, and executive assistance experience, reporting to the COO: Distribution. The individual will engage with senior executives of the company in forums such as project meetings, Compliance, Risk & Legal meetings, and various management meetings.
Responsibilities:
Developing reports to assist the Distribution business with decision making
Board & Exco Reporting, including data collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data
Assisting with monitoring of operational matters
Preparing and finalizing PowerPoint presentations
Developing business requirement specifications for system enhancements and development
Investigating data-related incidents and maintaining data accuracy
Project management (planning & reporting as well as taking ownership and ensuring successful delivery of the project)
Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and assisting with Qlik queries
Mentoring and management of junior team members
Minimum requirements:
Grade 12 / NQF4 qualification
Completed Bachelor of Commerce e.g. BCom (Information Systems and Management/ Finance / Business Finance / Investments / Financial Planning Law Investment Management) or BCom (Economics)
BCom Honours in Financial Management will be advantageous.
5 years' relevant work experience within the financial services industry
Computer literacy (Advanced MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint) and MIS software e.g. QlikView and Qlik Cloud
