The Mechanical Fitter (Turbines) is responsible for executing the daily preventive inspection activities with regards to the Turbines and Compressors, supervising OEM and 3rd party personnel during major shutdowns and services, coordinating OEM maintenance activities during repairs and services, preventing turbo-equipment failures, and solving equipment problems by applying first principles with regards to the equipment's mechanical functioning.
