ResponsibilitiesResponsible for Installation, repair, maintenance and service facility machinery equipment - such as Overhead Cranes, Plasma Machines, Interior and Exterior saw (workshop), GeneratorPerform preventative and predictive maintenance planning and implementation on facility machinery as follows but not limited to i.e. Cranes, Forklifts, Generators, Interior and Exterior saw (workshop), Welding machines, Croppers, Compressors, Spray pumps, Hoses, Small trailers, Oil and Tire stores, Ladders, Chains, Trucks, TrailersMonitor overall diesel usage, planning, reporting, and refill managementGeneral employee management including Project support employee coordination and time management (example Crane Operators, Cranes on Site arrivals and removal, Containers)Overall Fleet ManagementOverall Budget Management combined with a strategic market review of comparative part pricing structuresGeneral maintenance management of the company structures and gardensGeneral maintenance management at CEO, MD, and or Directors propertiesManage Troubleshooting and repair schedules of overall facility machineryWrite and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)Manage daily maintenance and repair logs of fleet and machinery aligned with Job card planning and allocationCommunication with subordinatesManaging cleaning and maintaining of work areas and company vehiclesManaging equipment when not in use including decommissioning planningManaging Fleet Planning and route scheduling including internal awareness/communication pertaining to routes, trips, deliveriesManaging overall fleet service schedules and planning thereof minimizing downtime and effect on projects, including proper communication with relevant stakeholdersResponsible for operating and monitoring the company vehicles Tracking systems.Managing departmental tools and equipment in the departmentManaging standby and 24-Hour assistance when required regarding maintaining, breakdown assistance and upkeep of company fleet i.e. Trucks, TrailersManaging inter-provincial break down partners where requiredMaintaining valid licenses, lifting certificates, Permits for the Company Fleet i.e. Trucks, TrailersMonitoring and managing driver compliance with road traffic legislation and relevant vehicles usage, such as license, PDP, Operator licenses, FinesRequirementsCompleted Matric/Grade 125 years proven track record in a Senior Management position within a similar environmentPostgraduate fleet management qualification (NQF level 8) or Senior Management program in fleet ManagementQualified Red Seal Diesel Mechanic5 Years Diesel Mechanic experience within a Crane Lifting and Transportation environment combined5 years proven track record in Cylinder, hydraulics, pneumatic, and Crane Repair managementAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematics5 Year Budget Management experienceAdvanced Organizational, Interpersonal, and Planning skillsAdvanced reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are requiredMicrosoft Office proficiencyAdvanced Mathematical ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages and interpret miscellaneous drawings and schematics.Valid South Africa Drivers License
