Purpose of the Job
To ensure the streamlined and optimized running of the Fleet Department by assisting the Fleet Supervisor. Key Performance Areas include:
Completing daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
Keeping records and general administration for both Despatch and Fleet
Route planning and Management of all Collections and Deliveries
To ensure that all POD documentation is accounted for and completed as per business requirements
Ensure proper timekeeping of all operational staff is done daily
All operational incidents and accidents to be investigated and as well as proper route course corrective actions implemented
Follow standard operating procedures and safe working practices
Tracking of vehicles and on route follow up and escalating of issues on the route
Perform any other reasonable admin duties
Monitor and report work performance of staff in the designated area
Capturing and reporting of fuel usage and fines are done on a daily basis and completed timeously.

Qualifications
Grade 12 qualification
Experience
Experience in a similar environment and industry an added advantage
Knowledge and Skills
Valid Drivers License
Proficient in English and one other official language
Computer literate - Proficient in MS Office and GSuite
