Make the move to a leading big four tax firm based in Auckland, New Zealand as they continue to expand their Transfer Pricing services in 2025.With the relaxation of New Zealand borders, my client is currently accepting international expressions of interest from qualified Transfer Pricing Professionals to join their national team based in Auckland, New Zealand.As part of the recruitment drive, my client will be supporting you with the work visa & relocation and repatriation process, with targeted commencement in the first half of 2025.Note this is a permanent full-time role based on-site in Auckland, New Zealand with a target commencement in the first half of 2025.If you are a Kiwi looking to return home or an international candidate looking to relocate, my client will be able to provide you with the necessary support and an exciting opportunity!
You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of blue chip clientele.This is a permanent full-time position and typically you would be granted an accredited work visa.
With this visa, you would have the opportunity to include your spouse/partner and dependent children.Snapshot of key responsibilitiesWorking within the firm's global network to provide holistic transfer pricing advice.
This involves coordinating with international colleagues to ensure advice is tailored to meet both local and multi-jurisdictional tax requirements.Regular client interaction to understand their business operations, transfer pricing needs, and risk exposures.
This requires getting involved with clients at a strategic level, not just in a technical capacity.Assisting with dispute resolution and Advance Pricing Arrangement (APA) applications to help with responses to Inland Revenue (NZ Tax office).You will be responsible for preparing transfer pricing reports that comply with New Zealand's legislation and international guidelines.
This includes quantitative analysis of intercompany transactions.You will work with senior team members to respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner.
This could involve clarifying complex transfer pricing concepts, discussing audit risks, or reviewing proposed intercompany arrangements.Continuous learning and adaptation with regards to Transfer Pricing and international guidelines.Ideal CandidateFour or more years of transfer pricing and international tax experience in a professional services environment.Hands-on experience with tax compliance, tax advisory, or tax planning related to both domestic and international tax matters.Experience with complex tax issues.Clear and effective communication skills.Strong organizational and time management skills.Relevant qualifications (accounting or finance degree).Next stepsI'd be keen to connect with experienced Transfer Pricing Specialists who are seeking to relocate and will be happy to discuss the process in detail of the firm & opportunity as well as the details surrounding the recruitment and relocation process to New Zealand.As an applicant, you would have done detailed research on life in New Zealand; including cost of living, accommodation, tax structures, and other relevant research.
