Main purpose of the job: An exciting opportunity exists in Stellenbosch, seeking a qualified Health & Frail Care Facilitator/Assessor to present the accredited (QCTO Home Based Care Personal Assistant) programme and join a dynamic team on a part-time, contract basis to facilitate 2 or 3 of the 7 planned accredited Frail Care Programmes during 2025.
Description: Bergzicht Training & Development, based in the centre of Stellenbosch, is a 32-year-old, successful non-profit organization that trains unemployed people from local previously disadvantaged communities in basic relevant skills enabling self-leadership; provides graduates support in finding full-time employment as well as offers mentoring and support to all graduates for their first year of employment. Each programme runs over approximately 2.5 months.
Required Minimum Qualification: Applicant must have grade 12 and registered SANC nurse.
Required Minimum Work Experience: Must have at least 5 years experience as a registered Nurse. Trained subject matter Assessor and previous skills training experience is an added advantage. Drivers License with own transport is essential.
Responsibilities: On-campus accredited training to groups of 12 learners per group according to QCTO standard, including both theory and practical training, visit learners during practical training in the workplace, assess and oversee completion of Portfolios of Evidence until graduation of each programme.
