The business has been in operation for 15 years and offers bespoke technology-driven recruitment solutions to clients across all disciplines. The team consists of experienced recruiters who are passionate about recruitment and linking great people to great companies.
The team is extremely busy, and we are looking for a Trainee Recruitment Resourcer to support the recruitment team on a day-to-day basis. This role has an element of candidate and client engagement. This is a soft entrance into the world of contingent recruitment.
This is an office-based role with standard working hours from 8am to 5pm with a 1-hour lunch. Suitable candidates MUST reside in the Ballito or surrounding areas.
This role is well-suited for an individual who thrives in engaging with new people, enjoys initiating conversations, and feels confident communicating over the phone with diverse individuals. The position requires a proactive approach and the ability to build rapport quickly in a professional manner.
Your primary responsibility is to support several Recruiters in identifying, engaging, and placing qualified candidates with client organisations. This dynamic role involves a combination of market research, candidate outreach, relationship building, and administrative tasks to ensure a seamless and efficient recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities:Candidate Sourcing and Identification:Utilise various channels, such as job boards (PNet, CareerJunction, Careers 24 & LinkedIn), social media, and internal databases to identify potential candidates.Daily sourcing on LinkedIn for passive career seekers – to headhunt directly via phone.Conduct thorough research to understand the industry and specific client requirements.Candidate Engagement:Initiate contact with prospective candidates through phone calls, emails, and social networking.Screen and assess passive and active candidates to evaluate their skills, experience, and cultural fit for potential roles.Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future opportunities.Administrative Support:Typing up adverts to post to online job boards.Typing up candidates' CVs.Working through advert responses.Assist in the coordination of interviews, assessments, and other recruitment processes.Update and maintain accurate candidate records in the company's internal recruitment database.Handle initial candidate inquiries and provide necessary information about job opportunities.Conduct phone references and checks on candidates with pending offers.Picking up leads through candidate interviews and references.Collaboration with Recruiters:Work closely with the Recruiters to understand client requirements and expectations.Provide regular updates on candidate progress, challenges, and market trends.Collaborate on candidate shortlisting and selection processes.Market Research:Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.Keep abreast of open job opportunities with key accounts and new client advertising new jobs online to flag to your senior recruiter.Provide insights and recommendations to the Senior Recruiter regarding potential talent pools and recruitment strategies.Relationship Building:Foster positive relationships with candidates to enhance the agency's reputation in the job market.Collaborate with colleagues to share insights and best practices.Required Qualifications and Skills:Matric coupled with a tertiary qualification – Degree / Diploma / Certification.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Outgoing personality with high emotional intelligence.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Not afraid to speak to new people daily and engage in conversation.Resilience with the ability to self-motivate.Ambitious with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment.Proactive and adaptable.Salary:Basic salary and a quarterly bonus scheme.
