We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Recruitment Consultant to join our IT training company and support our students throughout their recruitment journey, ensuring a seamless and rewarding experience. In this role, you will manage relationships with a diverse group of students across multiple disciplines, providing individualised career advice, answering their queries, and helping them transition from education into employment. You will be integral to building and maintaining relationships with recruitment agencies and IT companies, guiding students through job applications, CV writing, interview preparation, and follow-up. This position requires strong communication, relationship management, and organisational skills. Key Responsibilities: Candidate Support and Guidance: Guide students through their recruitment journey by offering personalised career advice and ensuring a positive experience. Assist candidates in writing their CVs, managing job applications, and preparing for interviews. Provide post-course career counselling and guidance to ensure a smooth transition from education to employment. Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with recruitment agencies and IT companies to secure employment opportunities for students. Engage actively with industry partners to secure interview opportunities and employment placements. Collaboration and Workshops: Work closely with the training department to understand the skills, capabilities, and aspirations of students. Organise and lead job search workshops, including CV writing, interview preparation, and networking skills development. Industry Insights and Student Tracking: Monitor employment trends in the IT sector to provide students with up-to-date information on marketable skills and opportunities. Maintain regular follow-ups with students to support their job search journey, offer advice, and gather feedback to enhance our services. Brand Enhancement and Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to highlight student success stories, contributing to the growth of our brand as a leader in IT training and employment. Experience: Previous experience in recruitment, career advising, or student support roles. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to offer clear and supportive advice to students. Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple student cases, workshops, and partnerships simultaneously. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships with both students and industry partners, demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism. Industry Knowledge: Awareness of the IT sector, including employment trends and the skills in demand. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with recruitment agencies or corporate partners, particularly in the IT field. Background in education, training, or career development services. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and CRM system.
