Our client is seeking a Trails Field Guide and Assistant Lodge Manager Couple to join them at their prestigious game lodge, where luxury meets the wild. This unique opportunity offers the chance to immerse yourself in the splendor of nature while providing exceptional guest experiences in a high-end lodge environment.
Trails Field Guide Responsibilities:

Lead guided game drives, walking safaris, and other outdoor activities, ensuring a safe, educational, and thrilling experience for guests.
Share in-depth knowledge of local flora, fauna, and ecosystems while creating memorable and informative encounters.
Maintain and operate field equipment, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and conservation practices.
Assist in wildlife monitoring and data collection as part of conservation efforts.

Assistant Lodge Manager Responsibilities:

Support the Lodge Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
Assist in staff supervision, training, and scheduling to maintain an efficient and motivated team.
Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and address any inquiries or issues to ensure a seamless and luxurious experience.
Coordinate and execute lodge events, dining services, and other guest activities.

Requirements:

Trails Field Guide:

Valid Field Guide qualification (FGASA) and full trails.
Extensive knowledge of local wildlife and ecosystems, with strong interpretive skills.
Proven experience in guiding and a passion for wildlife conservation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Assistant Lodge Manager:

Previous experience in a luxury lodge or hospitality management role.
Strong leadership skills and experience in staff management.
Exceptional guest service abilities with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to handle administrative tasks and operational challenges effectively.
