Type: Manchester based Trade Mark Attorneys - this one is for you! We have been instructed by our longstanding client, a leading specialist full-service IP firm who are looking to recruit a Trade Mark Attorney into their centrally located Manchester office.
As a qualified, Associate level Trade Mark Attorney you will step into an established portfolio of work across a multitude of sectors including healthcare and cosmetics, automotive, retail, big pharma and more. Working directly with clients ranging in size you will enjoy a healthy caseload of existing work and be fully supported in building new client contacts and develop existing relationships, whilst cementing your name in the market.
Day to day, you will be busy providing clients with your expert trade mark and designs advice on matters relating to IP strategy, registration, costs, enforcement, maintenance and portfolio management. You will conduct clearance searches, manage applications (with the support of a highly experienced formalities team), attend conferences and collaborate with internal marketing and legal teams.
The firm has a highly reputable Trade Mark team based across multiple sites and offer an agile working policy. You can expect a healthy mix of office and home working - usually requiring circa 2 days on site per week. It's important that you are based within commutable distance from Manchester and are happy to attend the office each week. This is not a fully remote opportunity.
Ideally this role will best suit an Associate or recently qualified Trade Mark Attorney. You will be confident working autonomously as well as within a team and have enthusiasm for business development.
