JOB PURPOSEThe People Specialist is responsible for enhancing the overall performance, efficiency, and productivity of the organization through the development and implementation of strategies and programs aimed at optimizing workforce capabilities. This role combines traditional HR functions with a strong focus on organizational effectiveness and improvement.RESPONSIBILITIESOrganizational EffectivenessDevelop, implement, and manage organizational effectiveness strategies and programs in collaboration with Group Organizational Effectiveness teamAnalyze and assess current organizational processes, structures, and systems to identify areas for improvementCollaborate with leadership to design and execute initiatives that enhance overall organizational efficiencyConduct regular evaluations and assessments to measure the impact of effectiveness initiativesHuman Resources ManagementOversee various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and complianceCollaborate with department heads and executives to align HR strategies with overall business objectivesMaintain and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure legalcompliance and best practicesTalent ManagementPartner with business to align talent management practices with organizational effectiveness goalsAssist in the development of talent management and succession planning programs in collaboration with the Group Organizational Effectiveness teamAssist in the development of talent acquisition and retention strategiesImplement performance management systems that support organizational goals and employee developmentChange ManagementWork closely with leadership to plan and execute change management initiativesAssess the impact of changes on organizational effectiveness and employee engagementCollaborate with group Organizational Effectiveness to develop communication plans and training programs to support change initiativesProvide guidance and coaching to leadership and employees to navigate change effectivelyMonitor and measure the success of change initiatives through key performance indicators and feedback mechanismsData Analysis and ReportingGather and analyze data related to organizational effectiveness, employee performance, and productivityCreate reports to track key metrics and trendsProvide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysisEmployee Development and TrainingCollaborate with the group Learning and Development teams to identify trainingand development needsGive input into the design and delivery of training programs that enhance employee skills and capabilitiesSupport the development of leadership and management skills within theorganizationJob RequirementsEDUCATIONBachelor''''s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related fieldCertification in Organizational Development or a related field (e.g., SHRM-SCP, HRCI-SPHR, ODCC)EXPERIENCEOver 7 years of experience in HR roles, with a strong emphasis on HR management functions and organizational effectivenessExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong project management abilities with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and data analysis toolsKnowledge of employment laws and regulationsExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, Kotter)Salary - R450 000 - R600 000pa CTC
