Toolroom Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

Qualified Toolmaker
3-5 years of experience in the supervision of employees within an automotive manufacturing toolroom environment

RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall supervision of staff in the Toolroom division in conjunction with:

Design tools and equipment for production lines based on extruded aluminum profiles
Participate in process and calculation work
Cooperate with the project development team
Ensure that tools are delivered according to specifications and demands
Responsible for trimming tools and equipment
Support continuous improvement and optimization of processes and solutions


Plan and prepare order documents related to equipment
Verify order documents concerning completeness, functionality, and feasibility based on experience
Document production materials/equipment; correct and amend drawings if necessary
Inspect received parts and initiate rework/adjustments if needed
Support the final approval and technical release of the production and test equipment
Conduct tests of production materials/equipment
Produce parts with complicated structures and extensive equipment
Set up devices under consideration of operational standards
Maintain equipment, dismantle deficient equipment, and check it according to non-conformity reports
Conduct and document repairs
Adjust maintenance standards after consultation
Plan and coordinate allocated repairs after commissioning by the supervisor
