ResponsibilitiesThe design, material planning and fabrication of moulds and diesDesign of dies or moulds based on a product sampleMarking out the tool design on the 'stock' or casting following engineering drawingsCutting and shaping the part using a combination of lathes, presses, grinders and cutting machinesChecking the tool's dimensions with precision measuring instruments like micrometers and gaugesCarrying out basic machine maintenanceMaintain proper asset records and files for all equipment with complete machine identification, parts list, engineering drawing and all maintenance recordsIn conjunction with the Maintenance Supervisor and production personnel, ensure preventive maintenance is carried out to achieve optimum availability of production equipmentAssist the Maintenance Supervisor to prepare a list of critical spares and their suppliers for all major plant and machineryAssist the Manager Tool Room with the management of the mould and die roomJob Type: Full-timePay: From R15000,00 per month
