Key Outputs Assembly of hydraulic hoses as per customer requirements and to CATERPILLAR hose information system specificationsAdherence to contamination control requirementsEnsure a safe and healthy work environmentEnsure machinery is in good working condition and calibrated as per factory specificationAccountable for keeping of hose assembly register Ensure that work areas are maintained clean and hazard free at all timesReceive hose requirements / specifications from parts and service sales liaison Verify against HIS to validate correct specifications / requirementsPick loose parts dependant on plant specific layout and processSelect correct hose and cut to specificationTag hose with correct informationSeal and despatch as requiredSign off hose assembly in hose registerBuild hydraulic hoses per sample as and when requiredProviding assistance in other areas within the warehouse as and when requiredQualification, Experience and Competencies

•Grade 12
•Certified hydraulic hose assembler will be an added advantage
•Previous experience in hydraulic hose assembly advantageous
•Working knowledge of all supplied fittings and their use
•Working experience with MS Office / ERP systems
