Time Study Clerk

Responsible for observing, recording and analysing the amount of time taken for specific tasks such as sanding, assembly, oiling and spraying in a manufacturing environment. The aim is to capture specific time requirements and efficiencies of the processes, to improve productivity, production processes and ensure resources are allocated effectively.This is a 3-month contract based at our Cape Town DC in Epping.Main accountabilities include but are not limited to: Data collection: Conduct detailed observations of each process to understand current practices and time consumption for the various tasks.Analysis: Use data collected to identify areas for improvement and determine standard times for each task to be completed.Reporting: Maintaining records and reports.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of time studies, including methods, results, and any changes made because of the analysis.Technical Skills: MatricComputer proficiency (Microsoft Office)Industrial Engineering Graduates would be preferredPersonal Skills and Attributes:Attention to detailAnalytical skillsBasic knowledge of industrial engineering principlesCommunication skillsOrganizational skills
