About Us:
We are a dynamic financial services company looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Telemarketer to join our team. This role is ideal for recent graduates, those who have recently completed an internship, or anyone looking to kickstart their career in sales.
Position Overview:
As a Telemarketer, your primary responsibility will be to make appointments for a financial advisor/broker using a provided client contact list. You will manage the advisor's diary and day-to-day appointments by influencing existing or potential customers to schedule a meeting. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the office executive regarding scheduled appointments.
Key Responsibilities:

Make cold calls to prospective clients using a given phone directory to schedule appointments.
Answer incoming calls from potential customers.
Use provided scripts to inform customers about our products' features and benefits.
Ask relevant questions to understand the customer's needs.
Persuade customers by demonstrating how our services can meet their needs.
Record customer information accurately in our CRM system.
Address customer complaints or concerns to maintain a positive company reputation.
Strive to meet and exceed targets by going the "extra mile."
Keep detailed records of calls, sales, and any useful information.

What We're Looking For:

Languages: Proficient in English and Afrikaans.
Skills: A spontaneous and friendly personality; excellent communication and presentation skills; negotiation skills and the ability to handle complaints.
Experience: Experience in telemarketing, sales, or a similar customer service role is preferred, but not required. A track record of meeting sales quotas, especially over the phone, is a plus.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of financial advising is a bonus. Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software, Excel, Word, Outlook) and telephone systems is beneficial.
Personal Traits: Persistent, results-oriented, patient, and able to handle customer rejection.
Education: A high school diploma is required.
