Job detailsHere's how the job details align with your profile.Job typeFull-timeLocationQueenstown, Eastern CapeFull job descriptionAdvert Reference: P14683 Technologist: Clinpath - QueenstownJob Title: Technologist: Clinpath - QueenstownClosing Date: 2025/01/20Position Available From: 2025-01-07Area: QueenstownActual Place Of Work: QueenstownPosition Type: Full-TimeWeekly Hours: 45Time Conditions: 5 day Work Week (South Africa)Purpose of Position: To perform routine and stat analyses of samples and maintain analysers/instruments in a Clinical Laboratory.Requirements:HPCSA registration as Medical Technologist (Clinical Pathology) (Required)National Diploma in Medical Technology (Clinical Pathology) / BHs MLS (Degree in Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences) (Required)Required Experience: 1-2 years working experience within a pathology environment.Key Responsibilities:Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Ampath.Perform administration tasks to ensure effective administration systems in the laboratory.Perform Quality Control procedures to ensure best practices are upheld.Process routine bench work in the laboratory for efficient processing of specimens.Provide technical support within the laboratory to ensure efficient flow of specimens and timely resulting of specimens.Train laboratory staff to ensure continuous development and education.Applicants must have a South African ID or a valid South African work permit.
