Technical Specialist (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:Customer Support for API users and escalated customer queries, administering help desk support to ensure client tickets are resolved timeouslyInvestigation / Problem Solving / Troubleshooting IssuesAnalysing LogsCoordinate changes to the software or any other config changes that may be client specific or otherwise Change Request Management and ProcessesDocumenting ProcessesChecking Validations and attending to issues or escalating them to the relevant ownerAssist in Compiling RCAs Requirements:Degree, Diploma or IT Related certificationProficiency with Excel and functions such as VLOOKUPS, HLOOKUPS etc.Good general knowledge of IT & keen interest in telecommunications?Good knowledge of Windows and how software worksA good knowledge of networking including VPNs and IP-SEC tunnelsMust have the ability to run Basic SQL QueriesUnderstanding of APIs such as SOAP, REST etc.Worked with API building and testing tools such as Postman API PlatformCapture traces using Wireshark and being able to interpret the results Advantageous:Experience in the mobile messaging / chat commerce industryAn understanding of the SMPP protocolWorked with Atlassian JiraWorked with SEQWorked with code repositories GIT
